General Cleaning Guidelines: Use a soft, dry cloth without water or cleaning products. Avoid using abrasive cleaners on polished or painted steel parts of the product.

Recommended direction of rotation: The Seiko NH35/NH36 caliber, used in the majority of our Seiko Mods, accepts the following windings:

  • Clockwise and counter-clockwise.

Abidirectional Watch winder is therefore ideal, but a unidirectional one is equally suitable.

Recommended number of turns per day (TPD): The optimum number of TPDs(Turns Per Day) is :

  • 650 to 800 TPD.

This setting keeps the watch charged without overstressing the mechanism. Most of our Watch winders are programmable and offer this range.

Are watches automatic or quartz?

All our watches are automatic, meaning they wind themselves by wrist movement. They are equipped with Seiko NH35 or NH36 movements, renowned for their precision and robustness.

Are they watertight?

Yes, our watches are water-resistant to 1 ATM (10 meters), making them suitable for everyday use, splashing, showering or light swimming. However, they are not intended for scuba diving.

What's the difference between a Seiko Mod and an original luxury watch?

Yes, all our watches are equipped with a mechanism that allows the date and time to be set manually by means of the crown. However, we recommend avoiding date changes between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m., when the internal mechanism is in automatic transition.

Are they guaranteed?

Yes, all our watches come with a 3-year warranty covering any manufacturing defect or malfunction of the movement. Normal wear and tear, shocks or exposure to extreme conditions are not covered.
